Project Engineer: 

  • Perform nonlinear CAE analysis for frontal crash modes, including full frontal, odb, front angular right, front angular left and small overlap modes for NCAP & IIHS standards using expertise in automotive engineering.
  • Develop CAE models for new model year vehicles including meshing, defining connections and creating modules for individual components to ease full vehicle assembly.
  • Perform and use advanced CAE techniques and methods to optimize vehicle structural design and enhance structural efficiency. Perform tensile and creep testing for PMMA and ABS.
  • Primary worksite is Plymouth MI, but relocation is possible.   

Req:  Master degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 4 months experience as Project Engineer or RA or Engineer trainee. Related experience must include tensile and creep testing.  Ref: #4542.
