Job Responsibilities

Looking for a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst. You will be part of a global team and work with subject matter experts who have professional and technical backgrounds including data management, information security, risk management, and consulting. The Data Governance Analyst role will focus on privacy and data security, ensuring that data is efficiently utilized as an enterprise asset. Responsibilities: Analyze needs of customers (purpose of data processing), desired outcomes (use cases) and identify privacy requirements that will be required for deployment Support compliance activities, as needed, such as audits, OICs, access reviews, etc. Partner with data stewards to ensure all information utilized adheres to compliance, access management and control polices Collaborate with stakeholders in IT (security, risk management, application development), OGC and business functions (HR etc.) on privacy safe guards required Understand and support the data security requirements of different functional areas like Credit, MS&S, PD, etc., and all the regional KPI / Metrics initiatives Develop understanding of policies that govern country/region data security and privacy laws and/or regulations Escalate issues in appropriate forums and work cross functionally to develop solutions Provide feedback to enhance the enterprise data governance model as needed

 

Skills Required:

Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills Ability to apply data management standards and data governance practices Ability to troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues Process improvement mindset - ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve existing business processes Strong organizational skills; able to advance multiple work streams concurrently Project management methods and framework (including agile)

Skills Preferred:

Prior experience working on creating data protection related controls and standards by leveraging Privacy frameworks, any ISACA or CISSP related certifications would be a plus. Understanding of Compliance and Regulatory requirements e.g. (S-Ox, HIPAA, GLBA etc.) Big Data / Hadoop administration include Ranger Policy development and maintenance Experience working on the ACR/ICR/SCRP processes Knowledge of Application Development Lifecycle Self-starter who can work in ambiguous situations and drive to a solution Knowledge of security administration

 

Experience Required:

5 + years of progressive responsibilities in any of following disciplines: Global Risk and Compliance, IT security, Data management, IT development, Project Management

 

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or a related technical field.

Prefer Master's Degree
